Jonathan Wimpee is one of the areas most talented and prolific guitar players. A musical chameleon, Wimpee is equally at home playing rock, blues, jazz, country, folk, funk, reggae, even dusty old Irish tunes when called upon. For a player primarily know as a guitar slinger, he has an incredibly soulful vocal delivery as well.

Mississippi born and now a Chattanooga local, Jake Stevens absorbed the musical and artisitc influences of Southern Mississippi and the lower Delta in his formative years. You can hear strains of New Orleans jazz and Mississppi blues in his songs. An artist as well as a musician, Jake is currently exploring life, music and art in the Southern Appalachians.

Ryder Pierce is a local singer-songwriter who had a swing at American Idol a few years back and has used that experience and his years of performing to sharpen his writing and delivery. This is Ryders first performance at Gate 11 and we are very excited to have him!

Richard Daigle is a singer songwriter with deep Louisiana roots. A recent winner in the Qualifying Round of the Tennessee Songwriters Week Competition, he returns to the Gate 11 stage with his blend of humourous originals and classic folkie cover times.

The Red Rogues bring their spirited blend of traditional Celtic tunes and Celt Punk to the Gate 11 stage. Where else on town can you expect to hear the likes of Drop Kick Murphy, Flogging Molly, The Pogues and other such bands. Come for the music, come for the craic and above all, come for the whisky!

Join us for Chattanooga’s largest and most authentic St. Patricks Day celebration - ST. PADDY’S at the CHOO CHOO! Family friendly fun starts at 2 pm on the expansive new lawn of the Choo Choo Gardens where entertanment will be provided by the Molly Maguires, Wolf Hounds and Tri-Selkies. Around 6 pm, the Highland Pipe and Drum Band will perform and set the tone for an evening of more racuous Celtic fun followed by The Red Rogues on the Gate 11 Stage at 7 pm and Danimal and Friends at Nic & Normans at 8 pm. There will be plenty of food and drink and activities from local vendors and non-profits. This event is FREE and will take place RAIN or SHINE!
